What to Expect from May…

I’ve decided to relook at my blog and try to utilize the amount of traffic that I get to provide something that’s a bit more enjoyable for readers to read. Also, I want to try and develop some of my own skills in the process. I’m pretty good at telling you guys what I think and what I feel, but I have discovered that I’m a bit lacking in the physical article and recounting division. (A skill I need to use more and more for work).

So, what a better place to try and develop my skills than here?

Although I’m still working on the layout, I’ve decided to start with a basic structure for the blog. Physically, it’s impossible for me to post more than 4 posts a week. I’m just too busy (and I salute my friends who manage between 5 and 7). And, I just don’t have that much to say (I’m a boring sales rep that look at chickens, what more is there to tell?). So, I’ll find things to say.

On Mondays I intend to start a series of posts called Mystery Monday. I love reading up about unexplained mysteries, and might as well give you guys a summary of what I find! That way, I practice my own fact recounting abilities, and I might actually give somebody something useful to take home and think about.

If not, it can always just be fun. J

On Thursdays I intend to write a review, be it from a game I’m currently playing or a book that I read.

The other two posts are open for suggestion and will be used as I see need. I intend to get back into writing Aheila’s Drabble Challenges. They are fun and good practice. I also want to continue with the various blog stories that I started. These are purely for amusement purposes.

And, occasionally – I’ll tell you what I’ve been up to. J

So, you can expect more from this blog in May than you had received in April.

I hope that this gives you something to look forward to.

How about an ‘Alyssa on’ section where you can get suggestions from your readers on topics/media that they’d like to hear your thoughts on. No obligation to you on actually covering those topics, but it can help spice things up a bit.

LOL, that sounds like a good idea, though I can be very oppinionated so you might no want to get me started. I’ll give it a suggestion in a further post and see what comes up. Care to volunteer a topic?

I love the Mystery Monday feature and Thursday review! Totally do Aheila’s Drabble Challenge. It is fun and, well, challenging. 😉 I hope you continue to write your thoughts on things and your stories are fun, too. I always follow your blog (you know that!) even when I don’t leave a comment, which I try to leave if I have something worth saying. 😉

LOL, I know. 😉 You’re a better mate than I am, I’m a little bit behind on my blog reading…
Glad you think the ideas are good! Ris has made another suggestion that I give you guys the opportunity to give me topics to write about and give my oppinion on. 🙂 That’s an idea to give to the troups!
      Thanks for always stopping by!

Hello Alyssa! I agree with the others, though I laughed at your physical limitation of four posts a week. That must be a really hard wall to run into, and it possibly answers my question about that, THUMP, I hear each week, LOL! A suggestion for writing is that you take people in the past, such as Abe Lincoln, and do a suppose they lived longer, story. What would they have accomplished? Another example, while World War II was raging in Europe, America stayed out of it for a while, mainly because most Americans wanted to crawl in a hole and forget about the outside world. What would have happened if we had declared war on Germany when they attacked Poland? Also, you should do a story about a baby, say maybe a year old, and give their thoughts a voice. Not physically speaking, just verbalizing their thoughts. I think it could be funny! Rgardless, write girl, write! Take Care! Don
